How do I participate and ask questions during a LIVE training event?
Every BrightStream TV event is broadcast with a Chat pod to the right of the classroom. We use Twitter to post questions directly into our Live broadcast feed. You can click the tweet button above the chat pod to post a question or simply click in the space provided below the chat pod. A new Tweet dialog box will appear allowing you to log into your Twitter account. Then type your question in the field provided and press return.
If you are using Twitter on a mobile device, simply tweet your question with the hashtag #askBrightStream TV.
Where do I get the exercise and other support files for the course?
After our Live event is complete, the recording of the show will be posted and there will be a link to the supporting documents below the video window.
What kind of internet connection speeds should I have to view/participate in a LIVE event?
Of course faster is better when it comes to streaming media whether it is LIVE or prerecorded. With that in mind we recommend a High Speed connection such as DSL or Cable.
Wireless connections are fine but you could experience some minor delays. A wired connection is recommended for the best experience but is NOT absolutely necessary.
So I can watch the LIVE show for free but have to pay for the recorded show? What's the deal?
That's right! ALL of our LIVE broadcasts are free during the time of the event. Just login and enjoy the training and the FREE files that are associated with the training.
If you miss a live event then you can purchase the recording of that event and have access to it for one year. Or, if you want access to all of the recordings and all of the live events, just register for an annual subscription to BrightStream TV and get an all access pass.
"I purchased a show recording but it still says that I have to rent the show?"
Some browsers do a little too good of a job caching your browsing and thus you are seeing your recent history of the page. Simply refresh your browser and you should be ready to watch your show immediately.
